Using ICS files to allow customers to insert invoice payment reminders into their calendars

When sending a reminder email, there is the option to automatically attach a ICS file. Which triggers a prompt to allow the customer to quickly add the reminder to their calendar.


We recommend only doing this on one reminder, to avoid duplicate events.



Here is an example of how it appears in Gmail:


When imported into a calendar, more information will be shown, such as amount and an online link to the invoice so they can easily pay.
